I
had a great 2007 YB season with a 1st place
overall win in the MVS futurity, and
1st place
overall win
/ 7th Champion bird overall in the Texas
Gusher. I also had a 7th place win in the World Ace Challenge,
that same bird remained on top and was 13th average speed
going into the 5th final race.
All
three of the above birds that I scored in 2007 are down
from "Golden Blood" my new Super Breeder!
I
took 17th champion loft in the Mercedes Classic. Two nestmate
sisters did all the work. (331 & 332) I knew before
sending these little speed hens that they would do well
for me, when you know your bloodlines as well as I know
mine, you dont need to depend on good luck.
They
are sisters of many 1st place winners of my Super Breeding
hen "215" out of my Federation speed pair.
This
year, "Golden Blood" will be mated to "215"
both are super breeders and bred Top racers with different
mates. I expect some wins out of this pairing.
I
had a pretty good local YB season considering my location
and I could'nt seem to get a break with the wind direction
which was always against me.
I
had a 2nd place combine race which I probably could have
won...I lost 12 minutes on the bird. He sat on the roof
and then got spooked and flew a few more laps.
Had
a great finish in the SBMF futurity. Clocked 5 birds all
in the money out of only 35 total day birds. However my
clock was 9 min. slow when we stopped it... Even though
I had these birds double clocked on my electronic clock
also, which could verify the actual times clocked I was
disqualified... ?%*&!!!!
More
photos coming soon.
I
only sent 1 team to each of the one loft races and beat
many top lofts who had 2, 3 or more teams entered in each
race.
More
photos coming soon.
